Alessandro Broggiato

About
Dr. Alessandro Broggiato is a senior general surgeon whose clinical precision and surgical expertise bring a vital real-world dimension to Salute Futura’s mission of merging artificial intelligence with medical practice. With over twenty years of experience across some of Northern Italy’s leading hospitals, he has built an exceptional career in general, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery particularly in the fields of colorectal, abdominal wall, and pelvic floor procedures. His rare combination of technical mastery and continuous innovation positions him among the new generation of surgeons integrating advanced surgical methods with data-driven precision.
A graduate of the University of Padua, Dr. Broggiato completed his specialization in General Surgery in 2011, defending a thesis on dual kidney transplantation from elderly donors a study reflecting his early interest in high-complexity cases and evidence-based surgical outcomes. Over the course of his career, he has performed and supervised hundreds of major surgical procedures, including more than 85 colorectal resections, 150 abdominal wall reconstructions, and 700 hernioplasties, many executed using robotic systems such as the Da Vinci platform. He currently serves as senior medical officer at AULSS 6 Padova Sud, where he also leads specialized programs in minimally invasive and pelvic floor surgery.
Beyond the operating room, Dr. Broggiato has been an active participant in Italy’s and Europe’s surgical innovation landscape, contributing to national congresses and advanced training programs from Modena to Vienna. His research has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals, with a focus on surgical outcomes, transplant optimization, and post-operative rehabilitation.
At Salute Futura, Dr. Broggiato ensures that the company’s AI-driven simulation models are grounded in clinical realism. His ongoing collaboration with the product and research teams bridges the gap between computational abstraction and hands-on surgical practice guaranteeing that every prediction, simulation, and algorithm reflects the complexity, responsibility, and precision of real medicine. His contribution exemplifies the core philosophy of Salute Futura: technology inspired, validated, and guided by clinical truth.
